Dress for the
Weather
Winter is here!!
Please remind your child to dress for the weather. Hats, mittens,
and ski pants.

Primary
Registration 2010/2011
February is
registration month. All students who will attend primary in
September 2010 must be 5 years old on or before December 31st,
2010. A birth certificate, proof of address, plus an up-to-date
Health Card must be shown at registration.
Congratulations
Congratulations to
Mrs. Edwards on the birth of her new daughter, Ella Louise and to
Mrs. Kennedy on the birth of her new baby boy, Jack.
School Driveway
It is recommended
that vehicles turn right on Strathmore and then stop at the entrance
to the school so that the children will be dropped off next to the
sidewalk. This is not a place to park if you are coming in to the
school with your child. Another safe drop off spot is at the back of
the school on Rosemary Dr. There is an opening in the fence and a
‘bridge” over the ditch.
Haiti Relief
We were very
successful with our fundraiser for Haiti. To date more than $2000.00
has been collected and donations continue. A huge thank you to the
families for the support. Special thanks to our Craft Club and Mrs.
Power for making and selling “Angels”.
Pennies/Coins
for Books Campaign
Tattletales Book
Store in Dartmouth is sponsoring the third annual campaign to raise
money for books. During the month of February we will be collecting
pennies and/or other coins. Tattletales then credits us with the
amount of money collected as well as a portion donated by business
sponsors. Last year we collected over $1000.00 in pennies. Can we
exceed that amount this year? If you are a business owner and would
like to make a contribution please contact Mrs. Langille for the
details.
